Details
The trust provides grants to individuals, groups and clubs for studies or projects of an educational nature. Grants are available to individuals who are residents of the “old” county of East Lothian. This means that of the area currently covered by East Lothian Council, residents of Musselburgh, Wallyford and Whitecraig are excluded.
Grants are available to individuals who are undertaking studies, courses or projects of an educational nature, including scholarships abroad and educational travel.
Local organisations are also able to apply for funding for projects addressing education, sports and the arts primarily to benefit those in financial hardship or other disadvantage. These grants will typically be in the region of £500 and £2,000.

Who can apply

When to apply
Applications are considered at four meetings per year. These are approximately February, May, August and November.
