The East Lothian Educational Trust offers grants to eligible individuals and organisations for educational activities, including study, travel and community projects. The East Lothian Educational Trust provides grants to individuals, groups and clubs for studies or projects of an educational nature.
Grants are available to individuals who are residents of the "old" county of East Lothian, and to pupils attending school trips and individuals who are undertaking studies, courses or projects of an educational nature, including scholarships abroad and educational travel.

Who can apply
Individuals, groups and clubs for studies or projects of an educational nature. Must be residents of the “old” county of East Lothian; this means that of the area currently covered by East Lothian Council, residents of Musselburgh, Wallyford and Whitecraig are excluded.
Local organisations are also able to apply for funding for projects addressing education, sports and the arts primarily to benefit those in financial hardship or other disadvantage.
