    Details

    The Holywood Trust provides grants to organisations working with, and providing opportunities for young people in Dumfries and Galloway. It also provides grant support to groups of young people within an organisation in Dumfries and Galloway.

    The Trust is particularly interested in:

    • Providing opportunities for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people throughout the region.
    • Encouraging talented young people in Dumfries & Galloway.
    • Helping improve sports and cultural opportunities across the region.

    The Trust can support:

    • Educational and Work Pathways
    • Youth Groups and Sporting Clubs
    • Emotional Wellbeing and Relationships – Support and Training
    • Equipment, Vehicles and Building Projects
    • Group Development Activities
    • Programmes of Activities For Young People
    • Cultural Venues or Arts Programmes
    • Staff and Overhead Costs
    • Support for Homeless Young People

    The Trust is particularly interested in helping to fill gaps in provision and to support innovative ideas.

    Who can apply

    Grants support opportunities for young people in Dumfries and Galloway primarily aged 15 - 25 and are available to both voluntary groups and individuals.

    The Trust requires details of how your organisation has been constituted, include any registration or reference numbers and requests an actual copy of your constitution or governing/founding document to be sent with your application.

    When to apply

    Applications for less than £10,000 and for individuals can be submitted at any time. The next application deadline for organisations applying for over £10,000 is Monday 22 September 2025.
