The trustees invite applications for grants supporting a specific category each year. The category for the November 2026 meeting is Children and Youth.

Please note that the trustees are unlikely to consider applications made outwith that year’s category.

When making your application, please include the following information or your application will not be considered:

• A note of the sum being sought
• An explanation of your charity’s aims and intended impact
• A brief explanation of the reason you are applying for funding (whether it pertains to a specific project or day-to-day operational costs like salaries)
• Your last annual account
• Any additional documents that may help the trustees to make a decision

When to apply

The trustees convene once a year in November to review applications. To be considered at that meeting, applications must have reached the secretary by 15 September.

If successful you will be informed of the outcome as soon as possible following the meeting. No responses are made to unsuccessful applicants.

Applications should be submitted via email to Anderson Strathern.

There is no specific format but details of why an award is being sought, what the funds are to be used for and the impact this may have should be given along with supporting documents such as the most recent accounts.
