Grants are given to a wide variety of organisations (generally in Scotland, particularly Tayside) including cancer research and other medical charities, youth organisations, university students' associations and arts and music groups.

Previous grantees include Outward Bound Trust, Scottish Ensemble, Marie Curie Dundee and Young Enterprise Scotland.
