The Trust gives grants to registered charities that work in the UK. They focus on specific priorities every year.
In rounds 1 and 2 for 2025, the theme is The Arts: Improving Access. The focus will be on performing arts projects – theatre, dance or music – that improve audience access and participation.

Who can apply
They only award grants to organisations registered with the Charity Commission or OSCR, or exempt from registration.
In grant rounds 1 and 3, the minimum annual income and expenditure is £100,000 and the maximum is £1m.
In grant rounds 2 and 4, the minimum income and expenditure is £1m with no maximum.

When to apply
They have four grant rounds per year. The dates for these are:
- Grant Round 1: 1 - 28 February
- Grant Round 2: 1 - 30 April
- Grant Round 3: 1 - 31 July
- Grant Round 4: 1 - 30 September
