Ramble Worldwide Outdoor Trust - Grants
Details
The trust's objective is to help all people to a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside. Ramblers Worldwide Holidays’ profits are channelled through the trust into a variety of outdoor, walking-related or environmental conservation projects.
They’re more likely to fund you if your activities are closely aligned with the Trust's main objectives which are to promote, encourage, facilitate and assist in:
- Getting people active outdoors through walking and other activities to improve their well-being.
- Advancing knowledge, conservation and protection of the beauty of the countryside.
- Improving and protecting access to footpaths and other countryside rights of way.
They generally support:
- Applicants who would otherwise not have the funds to achieve their aims.
- Applications aimed at increasing the knowledge, outdoor-access and well-being of young people.
- Applications from ‘hard to reach’ communities for whom access to the countryside is more difficult.
- Applications which are key one-off projects that will make a difference to many people.
- Applications to part-fund activities or projects from smaller organisations who are seeking a mix of funders
