Details

The Trust was established in 2007 with the particular aim of supporting heritage and the arts, principally in Scotland.

The Trust makes grants to charities which work in the following fields:

  • The advancement of the arts, culture and heritage: the Trustees particularly favour heritage and the visual arts, but other aspects of the arts and culture will be considered. The vast majority of grants are made in this field.
  • Support of the disadvantaged and the advancement of education: the Trustees consider only a small number of grants in this field in any one year.

Who can apply

The Trust makes grants to charitable bodies only.

When to apply

The Trustees meet once a year in Spring to decide on grants for the following 12 months. Applications should reach them by email or in hard copy not later than 31 December.

The Trustees normally pay grants prior to 30 June in each year.

How to apply

Applications should be made via the online application form or by hard copy to the postal address.

There is no need to send a copy of your annual accounts, unless they are not available online.

Please do not send additional literature or materials such as DVDs, compact discs, etc, as additional materials will not be passed on to the Trustees.
