Coalfields Regeneration Trust - CRT Programmes

Details

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust runs a variety of programmes and funding opportunities in eligible coalfield areas in England, Scotland and Wales focused on five key priorities; Community, Health, Skills, Jobs and Climate.

There are several different programmes/funding streams:

  • CRT Engage: health, skills and jobs programme. Funding for group activities, training, family hubs.
  • CRT Game On: using the power of sport to change lives for the better in former coalfield communities.
  • CRT Hubs: taking on a community asset to provide a base for local organisations to offer support, advice and opportunities to help people in need create a better life.
  • CRT Places: area based programme where our staff will focus their efforts on a specific location to deliver change for people living in that coalfield community. For coalfield communities in the 30% most deprived neighbourhoods based on the Indices of Multiple Deprivation.
  • CRT Support: free support to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations operating in Britain’s coalfield communities.
  • CRT Together (Wales only)

Applications are welcomed from groups based in or can evidence significant benefit to eligible coalfield communities. Groups can be voluntary/community groups or community/social enterprise groups.
