Supports the preservation, conservation and repair of significant historic buildings, structures and architectural features. They also support the conservation of works of art, objects, records and collections.

When to apply

Stage 1: Applications can be submitted at any time and are considered on a rolling basis, with a response within four weeks.
Stage 2: Applicants can apply at any time within 12 months after a successful Stage 1 application. Applications for £5,000 or less are considered on a rolling basis, with a response expected within 4 weeks. Applications for over £5,000 are decided by Trustees at quarterly meetings, with cut-off dates ahead of each meeting throughout the year.

How to apply

Applicants must first complete the eligibility quiz on the Trust's website, as application forms can only be accessed once eligibility has been checked. All applications are made through the Trust's online grants system and hard copy applications are not accepted. Applicants should read the funding guidelines carefully before completing the short Stage 1 application. The Trust will respond within four weeks to confirm whether the project has progressed to Stage 2. The full Stage 2 application can be submitted at any time within 12 months after a successful Stage 1 application.
