Over the years The Maple Trust has made gifts to a wide range of charities working both in Scotland and overseas.
Following a review in 2025, the focus of the Trust’s grant making is now on the following criteria: Children and Young People – Scotland-wide.

Who can apply
The Trust will consider applications for grants from charities registered in the United Kingdom, with projects based in Scotland and with an annual income of less that £500,000.
They also restrict applications to specific groups of local authority regions on a rotational basis. See website for which areas are eligible at different times.

When to apply
Currently closed to applications as quota has been reached. They will be accepting grant applications after the trustees' meeting in February 2027.
How to apply
There is a two stage process. Email Brodies with a short summary of your charities and projects; applications that are successful will be invited to submit a full application.
