The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the membership organisation for Scotland's charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. Charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Registered office Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh EH3 6BB.


The current policy is to focus grant-making in the areas of: amateur golf development in Scotland and South Africa; historic preservation of the town of St Andrews; the University of St. Andrews. The trustees also fund a small number of applications from charities and organisations. In 2018 that included Families First - St Andrews as well as other golf related charities.
