SSE operates a 27-turbine wind farm at Toddleburn in the Scottish Borders. The fund contributes to the communities located around the wind farm in the Heriot, Oxton & Channelkirk and Parish of Stow Community Council areas.
The community fund can support projects which:
- enhance quality of life for local residents
- contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities
- promote community spirit and encourage community activity
