Details

FiMT was established to improve the transition of Service personnel, and their families, from military into civilian life, focusing on those most vulnerable to failure. They are particularly interested in the following areas but this is not exclusive:

  • finding a job, training, education and transition services
  • early Service Leavers
  • finding a home
  • impact on families
  • support for spouses, dependants and partners
  • improving the well-being of the Armed Forces Community
  • ex-Service personnel in the Criminal Justice sector
  • access to information, help and guidance
