The objective of the Mary Salmond Trust is to provide financial assistance to individuals and organisations in North East Scotland, which is defined as the local government area of Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen and Moray.

They aim to support the advancement of community development, by encouraging activities which have a public benefit, as well as projects which focus on children and young people’s health and welfare, training and education, civic responsibility and volunteering.
