Clubs in Crisis Fund
The 'Clubs In Crisis' fund has been created to help directly support the thousands of grassroots community sports clubs and organisations that do so much good work with young people in their local areas to promote positive outcomes including developing life skills such as communication, teamwork and discipline, providing employment opportunities and reducing crime and anti-social behaviour.
The fund is looking for applications from clubs and community organisations using sport to improve young people’s lives through one or more of the following means:
- Developing life skills
- Building strong communities
- Improving mental health
- Developing employability skills
- Reducing crime and anti-social behaviour
Key to the fund is that it supports clubs and organisations intentionally using community sport provision to deliver wider social outcomes, not those focusing on developing and widening opportunities to participate.
