Details

The Edina Trust provides non-competitive, easy-to-access grants, for state primary schools in certain regions of the UK, to be used to promote the teaching of science and gardening. Grants are available to primary schools to fund a science project.

Schools can use their grants for school science weeks, science visits including trips out of, or visits to, the school, purchase of science equipment, improving the school's grounds for science, gardening resources (maximum £550 of £800 grant), science subscriptions, and early years science ideas.

This is is a non-competitive grant scheme. Funding is set aside so that there is enough for every school and maintained nursery in eligible areas to get the full amount.
