The Rowan Boland Memorial Trust
Details
The Trust provides junior sports people, living in the Scottish Borders, with assistance to enable them to further their sporting careers, whatever their chosen sport. The main aim of the Trust is to support enthusiastic youngsters, showing potential, to compete at Representative Level.
The Trust encourages local sports groups, clubs, schools or associations to apply for financial assistance in developing youth sport. The sports groups, clubs, schools or associations must be located within the TD1 postcode area.
They will consider a variety of support requests including those for competition costs out with the athlete's normal competition or training schedule, travel costs, accommodation, specialist equipment and training courses.
