Foundation Scotland - Vattenfall Clashindarroch Wind Farm Community Fund
Details
The Vattenfall Clashindarroch Wind Farm Community Fund supports charitable projects benefiting those living in the areas served by the community councils of Huntly, Strathbogie and Tap o’Noth and the area served by Cabrach Community Association.
It will support projects which will support positive change and strategic impact, in particular:
- improve community services and facilities
- increase participation in and access to contemporary culture, events and recreational activity
- preserve and enhance the natural environment for residents and visitors
- promote rural regeneration
- celebrate the area's cultural, historic and archaeological heritage.
They also offer two thematic schemes: Volunteer Development Bursaries; and School Transport Costs.

Who can apply
Groups and organisations working to benefit people in any of the four communities may apply to the fund. Standard Foundation Scotland eligibility criteria apply. Applicants do not need to be registered charities to apply.
When to apply
Upcoming deadlines are:
- 1 September 2025 (for meeting 27 October)
- 19 January 2026 (for meeting 16 March 2026)
Volunteer Development Bursaries and School Transport Costs applications can be made at any time.

If you are seeking a grant of more than £25,000 please contact Foundation Scotland in the first instance. You will be expected to submit a short proposal expression of interest six weeks in advance of the main application deadline.
