Community Grants act as an entry point into Westminster Foundation funding, to support small to medium organisations. The grants aim to encourage innovative programmes and allow organisations to deliver activities, research or work necessary to develop consortium applications from charities sharing a similar focus / working on the same issues.

Who can apply

  • Charities registered with the Charity Commission or organisations with exclusively charitable objectives.
  • Charities and organisations working with children and young people (aged 0-25).
  • Charities and organisations supporting families.
  • Initiatives making early positive interventional change securing healthy and fulfilling lives for young people.

Community Grants are geographically limited to Chester, Westminster and rural Cheshire West, Northern Lancashire (Morecambe and Lancaster region) and Sutherland.
