Clackmannanshire Council can offer financial assistance to local areas to help fund one community celebration each year. The grant will be paid to an organisation representing the wider community, this may be the community council or a local gala committee.
The event could be a Gala Day, special project, exhibition or a local initiative that will be enjoyed by a wide range of people.

Who can apply
Organisations representing the wider community in Clackmannanshire villages or communities, such as a community council or a local gala committee. The planning group should be representative of the area and should show evidence of community involvement. The project or group should have clearly defined plans, and all applications should be clearly costed. The Council looks for evidence that the planned activity reflects equality of opportunity and does not discriminate against any gender or creed.

There are no deadlines and applications can be submitted at any time. Your application will be acknowledged and within 20 working days, you will be informed of the outcome of your request.

The application form and guidance are available on the Council's website. Applicants should include copies of their constitution, additional background information and, where appropriate, an annual report or audited accounts as proof of the group's commitment to an area of Clackmannanshire.
