The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the membership organisation for Scotland's charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. Charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Registered office Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh EH3 6BB.


The Trust is for the benefit of the residents of the burgh of Lochmaben and in particular for projects that promote sailing, prizes for school children and anything that improves the amenity of the town.

Awards can be granted to aid community projects, events or activities. This could include: awards and prizes to schools within the Burgh for achievements or sports events and providing prizes for the best kept gardens within the Burgh and providing facilities or activities to encourage boating on Castle Loch.

When to apply

There are two meetings held in May and September each year. Applications should be submitted 6 weeks before a meeting.

How to apply

Applications to the Trust should be directed to Community and Customer Services in Annan Town Hall. Application form available via website.
