Summary

Funds the promotion of the welfare, dignity and efficiency of members and intending members of the British Merchant Navy. Grants are made mostly to students intending to pursue a career in the merchant navy, fishing or oil industry to assist them in paying for course fees. Grants are also made to charities supporting former or current members of the British Merchant Navy.

Who can apply
