Aldi - Scottish Sport Fund - South Scotland

The Aldi Scottish Sport Fund is a Scotland-wide community sport programme that helps local sports clubs and organisations secure funding, encouraging participation in sport for all ages and abilities within their communities.
The fund is open to community sports clubs and other organisations based in Scotland, from rugby clubs to after school groups and everything in between. Registered charity status is not required. Groups can apply for funding towards things such as equipment, kits and training costs.

Who can apply
They only accept applications from organisations based in Scotland that meet one or more of the following criteria:
- a local, community focused club with sport at the heart of what you do
- a registered community amateur sports club (CASC)
- a school or educational organisation
- a religious organisation
- a Scout or Guide group
- a charitable service fund of the Armed Forces
- a Community Interest Company
When to apply
This is an annual programme with a separate application window for each region of Scotland, based on postcode area. The windows run in turn through the year, and applicants should apply during the window for their region. Organisations operating across several regions should apply by the earliest applicable regional deadline.
