Supports charitable projects that benefit people living in the Auchterless, Inverkeithny & Fisherford Community Council areas. It supports activity which will sustain and develop the life of the community and ensure that the area is an attractive and vibrant place to live, work and visit.

It will support education, citizenship or community development, rural regeneration, civic responsibility, volunteering, culture or science, sport and other recreational activities, access to services or social activities, environmental protection or improvement, sustainable development, energy efficiency measures and sustainable transport.

Who can apply

Applicants have a constitution (governing document or set of rules) and are set up on a not-for-private-profit basis. However, applicants do not need to be registered charities to apply. Applications may be accepted from private businesses or individuals where they can clearly demonstrate that the public benefit arising from an award will outweigh any private gain and the grant is necessary to enable the proposed activity to take place.

This is a rolling programme and applications can be made at any time. The Panel meets as and when necessary to consider grant applications.
