RHS Greening Great Britain

In 2020, the RHS will support community organisations and schools/youth groups to transform an unloved space in their area to benefit their local community and environment.

This year’s theme is ‘Growing Connections’ and the RHS is seeking applications to support projects which will create or improve a community greenspace space to help bring people together and benefit others in the community.

Successful applicants will receive hands-on support from the RHS Outreach Team, plus a grant of up to £500.  Hands-on support can be tailored to meet the needs of your group but may include:

  • Help to plan your project
  • Horticultural/planting advice
  • Help to engage a wide range of people with your project, through consultation, workshops and training
  • Advice on how to maintain your project in the future

For project inspiration, guidance notes and a link to the online application form, please visit http://www.rhs.org.uk/ggbwithcommunities

The deadline for applications is 14th February 2020, but if you have any queries, please contact communities@rhs.org.uk

The project is supported by M&G.
