Grants for organisations who employ people from disadvantaged or vulnerable groups
In response to the pandemic, Social and Community Capital have launched a £1 million Coronavirus Response Fund which is offering unrestricted grants to between £5,000 - £50,000 to organisations across the UK that employ people from vulnerable or disadvantaged groups.
The aim of the fund is to help organisations survive the crisis and continue to have a positive impact in their communities. The fund is open to a range of organisations including registered charities, community interest companies and unincorporated associations.
Organisations must have been trading prior to January 2019 and have an annual turnover of between £50,000 - £1 million. The fund will support organisations who, prior to lockdown restrictions, generated at least 30% of revenue from trading income and have suffered a loss of trading income since March 2020.
Applications opened on Monday 22 June and will stay open for at least one week depending on demand so apply as soon as possible.
