Third Sector Resilience Fund Update

Posted on 9 September 2020 by Christie McAlpine in Coronavirus pandemic Funding

The Third Sector Resilience Fund (TSRF) will close for applications on Friday 11th September at 12 midday.

The Third Sector Resilience Fund has played an important role in helping the third sector to keep the lights on during these uncertain times. In the last six months, the TSRF has provided grant funding to 1356 organisations, as well as loan funding to 25 organisations across Scotland, and in doing so, it has helped protect over 16,000 jobs.

As the sector now looks beyond resilience and plans for recovery to operate sustainably post-Covid, the Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Local Government last week announced the Third Sector Community & Recovery Programme, which will open later in September. More information about this programme is available here.

What happens next?

Organisations interested in applying for TSRF grant funding (or already in the process of completing an application form), are advised to complete their application before the deadline – midday on 11th September.  Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

Loan funding through TSRF will also close for applications from midday on the 11th September. A loan fund will be available through the Third Sector Community & Recovery Programme, full details will follow with programme announcements later in September.
