Gathering Event Hosts Wanted!

It's been two years since our last large scale in-person event, but - restrictions allowing - we hope to finally bring The Gathering back to Glasgow's SEC on 15 & 16 June 2022!

Obviously we'll be doing things differently this year, and constantly adapting our plans to COVID guidance so we deliver a safe and successful event. We've taken your feedback on board and instead of an exhibition hall will be offering more opportunities to network and learn.

There will be 70 session slots available across the two days, and you are the first to know that we're now looking for event hosts!

​The event programme will have two themes:

• practical events - helping people to develop their skills and knowledge
• influencing events - focusing on hot topics and driving change

If you would like to host an event, please submit your proposal and let us know more about your event - this allows us to make sure that we have a wide and varied range of topics that represent the whole voluntary sector. Successful  applicants will be notified by early Spring and asked to submit more details.

Event hosts will receive event marketing and advertising through various SCVO channels, delegate management, event room setup, a comprehensive audio-visual package, technical support on the day and invites to The Gathering reception. Should we need to postpone or cancel The Gathering 2022, event hosts will of course be offered a full refund or an event on a rescheduled date.
