A look back at 2022
Looking back at Funding Scotland over the past year, there is a clear link between what people are searching for and what's happening in our society today; from increased energy costs and a focus on net zero, to responding to the war in Ukraine and supporting the most vulnerable in our communities.
We've seen nearly 160,000 visitors carrying out more than 317,000 searches, added 171 new funds to the database and made nearly 4,000 updates to fund information.
Whilst search numbers have been up overall, there has been large increases in the number of people searching for Environment, Transport, and Energy. Meanwhile, Health Care and Wellbeing remains the most searched for activity area for the second year in a row.
It's a similar story with the beneficiaries section which has seen increased searches under every single category. Those with the biggest increase in number of searches have included Refugees and Asylum Seekers, Black and Ethnic Minorities, and People in Poverty. The most popular search remains the same as last year with Children and Young People topping the list.
As we look forwards to 2023 and the ongoing challenges the sector faces, we will make sure that you have the funding information you need to continue delivering your amazing work.
Wishing everyone a wonderful festive season! 🎄🎉
