Participants sought for informal engagement session

The Scottish Parliament’s Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee’s consultation on the Scottish Government’s Trust and Succession (Scotland) Bill ended in March.
The Committee is now undertaking further engagement on the Bill, including an informal online engagement session on Tuesday 30th May 2023 to hear directly from individuals, families and charities who benefit from or use trusts (both public and private).
The Committee are looking to engage with a particular focus on charities who are beneficiaries of trusts, exploring how trusts are used, if people are happy with the proposals in the legislation, and any problems people have experienced with trust management.
