SSEN Transmission Community Benefit Fund Consultation

SSEN Transmission have recently set out plans for a Community Benefit Fund and are currently engaging with organisations and members of the community with a possible interest in the Fund. The fund will see over £10m being spent on delivering a sustainable and positive legacy for communities hosting large net zero infrastructure assets in the Highlands, Aberdeenshire, Orkney, Shetland, Angus and Argyll.

The consultation is open until 13 August 2023 and can be accessed online.

The Community Benefit Fund is not yet open and more details will be provided by SSEN Transmission following completion of the consultation and stakeholder engagement.
