Holywood Trust

The Trust supports opportunities for young people in Dumfries and Galloway, primarily aged 15-25. The focus is on helping young people move forward in their lives, whether by grants to organisations or to individual young people.

Esmee Fairbairn Foundation

The Foundation is one of the largest independent grant-makers in the UK. Their new strategy focuses on three aims: Improving Our Natural World; Tackling injustice to deliver A Fairer Future; and Nurturing Creative, Confident Communities.

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation - Major Grants

Funds organisations working directly with families in need. Organisations should have a focus on Family Support including early intervention, families coping with addiction, and prisoners' families.

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation - Small Grants

Trusthouse gives grants for running costs to charities and not-for-profit organisations under the overarching themes are Rural Issues and Urban Deprivation. Their preference is for front line organisations working directly with people in need.

The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation

The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation supports a wide variety of capital projects in Scotland’s North-east and Highlands.

Hugh Fraser Foundation

Makes donations to registered charities which are active in such sectors as the arts and culture, medical & health, the environment and education, care and support of the young and elderly, people with disabilities and the under-privileged.
