Robert Barr's Charitable Trust

The Barr Charitable Trust has wide charitable purposes and has historically supported a wide range of charitable activities. The Trustees tend to favour capital projects rather than running costs.

SSE - Artfield Fell Wind Farm Community Fund

Provides grants to community and charitable projects in the community council areas of Old Luce and New Luce in Dumfries and Galloway.

SSE - Balmurrie Fell Community Fund

Provides grants to community and charitable projects in the community council areas of Kirkcowan, Old Luce and New Luce in Dumfries and Galloway.

SSE - Clyde Extension Community Fund

Supports community-focussed projects in the community council areas of Duneaton, Biggar, Symington and Quothquan & Thankerton.

SSE - Clyde South Lanarkshire Community Fund

The community fund is for projects within the Clyde wind farm area, up to around 15km from the wind farm near Abington.

SSE - Clyde South Lanarkshire Development Fund

The Fund supports capital projects which will result in a range of local benefits for local people including employment and/or education opportunities and support the local economic prosperity of South Lanarkshire.

SSE - Gordonbush Community Fund

Supports community and charitable projects in Brora, Golspie, Helmsdale and Rogart Community Council areas that develop the area's assets and build the sustainability of the local communities as vibrant places to live, work and visit.

SSE - Kingairloch Community Fund

Provides grants to community and charitable projects in the Ardgour, Sunart and Morvern Community Council areas supporting charitable, educational and environmental purposes.

SSE - Spurness Community Fund

Provides grants to legally-constituted community groups, non-profit organisations and registered charities that undertake community and charitable projects in the Sanday Community Council area.
