Soirbheas - Tier 2 and 3 Grants

Soirbheas provide grants mostly funded by the Corrimony windfarm. The beneficiaries of projects must be resident in the Glen Urquhart or Strathglass Community Council areas.

East Ayrshire Council - Renewable Energy Fund (REF)

Grants are intended to offer support to provide or maintain cultural, social, welfare, recreational or sporting facilities. They can also assist projects that are in the interests of the community or the environment.

Sealladh na Beinne Mòire Community Fund

The fund is predominantly for projects which will take place on the South Uist Estate area (i.e. Eriskay, South Uist or Benbecula) that demonstrate sustainable benefit to the SnBM membership and the wider community.

RS Macdonald Charitable Trust - Small Grants

The trust's charitable objects are: Tackling Child Abuse & Neglect, Visual impairment, Neurological conditions, and Animal welfare.

SSE – Clyde Extension Community Fund

Supports community-focussed projects in the community council areas of Duneaton, Biggar, Symington and Quothquan & Thankerton.

Funds community and charitable projects in four community council areas. Grants are available for projects which enhance quality of life, contribute to a vibrant community and promote community spirit.

Supports projects located within or directly benefiting the community area of Dailly. It supports charitable activities that support the rural regeneration and sustainability of Dailly.

Dumfries and Galloway Council can provide financial assistance to the third sector (voluntary and community organisations) who can apply to one or more of four Area Committees: Annandale and Eskdale; Nithsdale; Stewartry; Wigtown.

King George V Wind Turbine Fund

The fund covers several communities including Crathes, Durris, Drumoak, Banchory, Finzean, Strachan, Torphins, Lumphanan and Inchmarlo. Priorities include participation in education, sport and arts, social inclusion, sustainable developments.
