The Council has a number of settlement trusts which support projects under a wide range of categories including education, arts, local communities and the environment.

SSE - Achany Wind Farm Community Fund

The Fund contributes to the communities located around the wind farm. It funds community-focussed or charitable activities which benefit the community councils of Ardgay and District, Creich and Lairg.

Soirbheas - Express (Tier 1) Grants

Soirbheas provide grants funded by wind farm community benefit. Express grants are small awards for projects which benefit residents in the Glen Urquhart or Strathglass Community Council areas.

Lord Armitstead's Trust for the Benefit of the Citizens of Dundee

The trust was set up for the benefit of the citizens of Dundee. It's principal activities are the support of local charities, the Armistead Lecture series and the Dundee Educational Prize Fund.
