The Gannochy Trust is an independent grant maker, informed by its Funding Strategy and Guidance for 2019 to 2022. During this funding strategy, the greater percentage of funding will be aimed at groups and organisations within Perth and Kinross.

The aim of People's Postcode Trust is to support smaller charities and good causes in the Scotland to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet.

Funds are available for capital projects which improve quality of life and economic prosperity of communities within 10km of participating renewable energy developments at Whitelee, Pates Hill, Stallashaw and Blacklaw.
The fund covers several communities including Crathes, Durris, Drumoak, Banchory, Finzean, Strachan, Torphins, Lumphanan and Inchmarlo. Priorities include participation in education, sport and arts, social inclusion, sustainable developments.
The fund supports projects in the communities where The Kingdom Housing Association operates.
The objective of the fund is to help "sustain and develop Shetland's communities". Only projects recommended by a local community council will be supported.
The Trust was set up to disburse the funds received in respect to the Farr Windfarm. It supports projects which benefit the local community in the Strathdearn area.
SOLWEC and Auchrobert Community Fund aims to support communities in the vicinity of West Browncastle, Nutberry and Auchrobert wind farms to pursue environmental projects which benefit the people who live in the immediate vicinity of the wind farms.
