This funding aims to support communities to improve the places in which they live and the wellbeing of those most in need. Projects should be people-led, connected, and strengths-based.

The National Lottery Community Fund - (Scotland) - Improving Lives

Improving Lives aims to support activity that helps people overcome difficulties and become more resilient.

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation - Small Grants

Trusthouse gives grants for running costs to charities and not-for-profit organisations under the overarching themes are Rural Issues and Urban Deprivation. Their preference is for front line organisations working directly with people in need.

Garfield Weston Foundation

The Foundation supports a broad range of organisations and activities that share a commitment to making a positive impact to the lives of the communities in which they work, and that are driven by a desire to achieve excellence.

The Wakeham Trust

The Trust's core goal is to help small groups of people who are getting together to make a difference in their communities. They are especially interested in helping groups that are starting up and need a little seed money to help them get going.

James Wood Bequest Fund

Grants are made to a wide range of charities including medical care, disabilities, family support, carers and more.

Wm Sword Charitable Trust

Grants are given to provide relief and assistance to children and other persons who are sick or are otherwise in conditions of need, hardship or distress. Preference is given to applications from small projects local to Dundee.

SPAR Community Cashback

Grants are available for local voluntary or community organisations and charities working in communities across the UK.

Fife Council - Settlement Trusts

The Council has a number of settlement trusts which support projects under a wide range of categories including education, arts, local communities and the environment.
