Air Discount Scheme

The Air Discount Scheme (ADS) aims to tackle the problem of high air fares for the remotest communities in the Highlands and Islands by providing a discount of 50% on the core air fare on eligible routes.

Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council) - CLD Grants to Voluntary Organisations

Community Learning and Development staff support the dissemination of grants to community groups.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise - Community Right To Buy Fund

Financial support is available to communities to utilise existing Community Right to Buy legislation, allowing communities to register an interest in acquiring land or buildings and have the first option to purchase if/when it's offered for sale.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise - Digital and Technology Adoption Capital Grant

Provides organisations based in the Highlands and Islands region funding to support digital transformation ambitions.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise - Digital Specialist Advice Grant

The Digital Specialist Advice Grant offers organisations based in the Highlands and Islands area towards the costs of obtaining digital specialist advice.

Muaitheabhal Community Wind Farm Trust

The trust distributes the community benefit fund available from the Beinn Mhor Wind Farm. Priority areas which will benefit from the fund are Pairc, Kinloch and the villages along Loch Seaforth in North Harris.

Sealladh na Beinne Mòire Community Fund

The fund is predominantly for projects which will take place on the South Uist Estate area (i.e. Eriskay, South Uist or Benbecula) that demonstrate sustainable benefit to the SnBM membership and the wider community.

SSE - Hydro Community Fund

This new community fund is open to projects that support residents in the community council areas which proudly host SSE's hydro assets.

The Pebble Trust

The Trust provides grant funding for projects which support the vision of a more sustainable and equal society. Applications will be prioritised from the Highlands and Islands.
