A Build It award is for social enterprises with a track record of trading and social impact and that need salaried positions to take the business to the next level of financial sustainability.

Firstport - Social Entrepreneurs Fund - Start It

Start It is a funding programme that helps budding social entrepreneurs in Scotland to get their businesses up and running. Funding comes from the Scottish Government’s Social Entrepreneurs Fund.

Foundation Scotland - Mary Janet King Fund

Supports community groups working with young people in arts and music. They are particularly interested in projects which are helping young people to take up music. Priority will be given to grassroots organisations.

Foundation Scotland - Social Investment Fund

The Social Investment Fund offers blended grant and loan investment to social enterprises, community organisations and charities. Investment can be used for capital expenditure, asset acquisition and business growth.

Foundation Scotland - Victoria League Scotland (VLS) Trust

Funds projects which focus on supporting overseas students in Scotland, and which help build positive relationships between different cultural groups.

Four Winds Trust

The trusts purpose is to give those living in cities a better chance to enjoy nature and the beauties of the countryside. This is a small grant making trust.

Gambling Education & Prevention Small Action Fund

Groups of young people aged 12 – 25 in youth groups across Scotland have can apply for a micro grant to turn their ideas into action and create their own gambling education project.

The Gannochy Trust provides funding to registered charities, primarily working in Perth and Kinross, but also to inspire and develop young people throughout Scotland.
