The overall aims of the fund are to support activity which will sustain and develop the life of the community and ensure that the area is an attractive and vibrant place to live, work and visit. Supports projects within 15km of the wind farm.

Money raised from Home Instead Offices and external supporters funds groups who support the mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of ageing adults.
Orcome Trust
The Orcome Trust is administered and located in Newhall on the borders of Midlothian and Tweeddale. Preference is given to smaller charities and projects that benefit the general geographical area as well as further afield for worthwhile causes.
SSE - Clyde Borders Community Fund
Supports the community council areas of Skirling, Upper Tweed and Tweedsmuir. The Fund aims to promote community spirit and bring people together; enhance quality of life and promote people’s well-being; and foster vibrant sustainable communities.

Scottish Borders Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund
Focuses on prevention and early intervention and aims to support grassroots community groups in tackling mental health inequalities and addressing priority issues of social isolation, loneliness, suicide prevention and tackling poverty and inequality.
Scottish Borders Council - Neighbourhood Support Fund
Supports voluntary and community groups that are active within their communities and who are planning community based projects. The Fund operates in five Area Partnerships; Berwickshire, Cheviot, Eildon, Teviot and Liddesdale and Tweeddale.
