The Foundation supports wide range of charitable activities. The main areas are Theatre and the Performing arts and Children / Education. They also support medical causes, community projects, homelessness and the environment.
Cray Trust
This trust mainly supports charities benefitting young people in the east of Scotland. They tend to favour children's, health, carers and church charities.
Weavers Benevolent Fund
Funds are given to help disadvantaged young people and to address problems faced by offenders, ex-offenders and their families. There is a preference for supporting smaller charities which provide direct services.

The Sir Halley Stewart Trust
The Trust funds projects that focus on the prevention (rather than the alleviation) of human suffering. They have three priority areas Medical, Social and Religious, with education being a central theme that runs across all three.

Barcapel Foundation Limited
The Barcapel Foundation provides financial assistance mainly to organisations that have Registered Charitable Status. The three priority areas of funding are health, heritage and youth.

The Trustees' primary focus of support is to recognise charities, working both locally in Scotland and abroad, promoting or involved in humanitarian works, the alleviation of suffering and the furtherance of education.
