Makes donations to various charities for charitable or educational purposes and the trustees resolve. They have previously supported organisations in Aberdeen working in education, care, youth, disability, children, music, poverty, medical and chruches.

Objectives are: research for medicine and surgery in Edinburgh; the physical wellbeing of the youth in Edinburgh; research in Chemistry as affecting industry in the UK; charities whose objective is the restoration of the sick to health.

John M Archer Charitable Trust

The trust has general charitable purposes and supports local, national and international organisations. Most of their funding went to medical/health charities.

John Watson's Trust

Awards grants for educational purposes to children and young people under the age of 21 who have a physical or learning disability, or who are socially disadvantaged. Funding includes support for school and youth trips and residential experiences.

The Joseph Alexander Trust supports charitable organisations in Kirriemuir and district with particular emphasis on music and the arts. In recent times the Trust has assisted local musical organisations, schools and relevant educational projects.

Kells Trust

Supports charities benefiting the wellbeing of older people, and smaller charities based in Glasgow and the west of Scotland who support and assist younger people.

Kelly Family Charitable Trust

Funds charities involving family members in initiatives that support and encourage the family to work as a cohesive unit in tackling problems that face one or more of its members.
