Postcode Local Trust achieves its objectives through funds receives from its society lottery, operated by its External Lottery Manager, Postcode Lottery Ltd (marketed as People’s Postcode Lottery).Postcode Local Trust was established in 2015 to support local environmental projects. In 2016 Postcode Local Trust distributed over £3.5 million to good causes across Great Britain.Postcode Local Trust operates its own society lottery and receives all of its funding from players of People's Postcode Lottery. Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over ££310 Million Million to date.
