Trefoil - Organisational Grants
Details
Trefoil supports the interests of children and young people with special needs, including physical disability, caring obligations, other disadvantage or learning and psycho-social needs to foster their independence, confidence and assertiveness.
They will in particular consider funding for:
- projects promoting education, health and social welfare
- team building activities
- recreation with an educational element
- therapeutic activities not core funded by the statutory authorities
- new development and start up project costs.

Who can apply
Organisations whose aims are to provide education, health and social welfare. All applicant organisations must be able to demonstrate their financial propriety, solvency and two years of audited/independently inspected accounts.
Projects will only be considered if the beneficiaries are 1) based in Scotland or if the project benefits young Scottish people with additional support needs; 2) All beneficiaries are young people with additional support needs.
They won't normally consider applications from organisations with a turnover of £500,000 or more.
