King Charles III Charitable Fund - Small Grants

Details

The Fund considers small grant applications from UK registered non-profit organisations supporting grassroots projects in diverse and deprived communities. They will only be accepting applications from organisations for projects / activities in the environment and countryside funding themes:

  • Environment: protecting and promoting the environment through efforts including habitat restoration, species conservation, carbon savings and sequestration and circular economies.
  • Countryside: investing in the economic and environmental future of the countryside. This includes support of sustainable and regenerative agriculture, nature friendly farming practices and a brighter future for those who live and work in rural communities.

They will open in August for applications from organisations working across the education and heritage and conservation funding themes. In February, they will welcome applications from organisations working across the social inclusion and health and wellbeing funding themes.

Who can apply

To apply for a small grant, your organisation must:

  • Be a UK registered non-profit organisation
  • Have an annual income of less than £1 million
  • Have completed two years of activity
  • Have less than 6 months free reserves
  • If seeking funding for a project, the total cost of the project should not exceed £200,000

When to apply

The small grants programme is closed to applications at present and will reopen in early 2025.
