Auchrobert Community Fund
Details
The Auchrobert Community Energy Society Community Fund aims to support communities in the vicinity of Auchrobert windfarm to pursue environmental projects which benefit the people who live in the immediate vicinity of the windfarm.
The types of projects which they aim to support include:
- energy efficiency
- energy advice
- energy generation
- conservation
- biodiversity and wildlife
- environmental education and information
- environmental campaigns or similar projects.
Previous awards have included an outdoor learning areas, a memorial garden and refurbished bikes.

Who can apply
Groups in South Lanarkshire, East Ayrshire and East Renfrewshire, with priority given to constituted groups in a 10 mile radius of Auchrobert Wind Farm.
Groups must have an up-to-date Constitution or Governance Document and bank account in the name of the organisation.
When to apply
This fund is currently closed for applications. The next funding round will open in March 2025 with a closing date of 31st May 2025. Details of how to apply will be posted in due course.
