The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the membership organisation for Scotland's charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. Charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Registered office Caledonian Exchange, 19A Canning Street, Edinburgh EH3 8EG.

Details

AABIE is the platform which facilitates all at AAB Group to invest in the communities in which they operate by seeking partnerships with charities and inviting applications for donations, grants and volunteer time.

Key priorities are:

  • Prevention or relief of poverty
  • Promotion of religious or racial harmony or promotion of equality or diversity
  • Relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage

Applications should be capable of having a clear and meaningful impact, for example:

  • Small charities where the contribution amount is significant relative to the charity’s size
  • Larger charities with identifiable project opportunities that AABIE could put its name to
  • Projects which include the opportunity for AAB employee(s) involvement through the AABIE volunteering programme
