Highlands and Islands Community Climate Action Fund
Summary
The Climate Hub offers small grants to community groups for community engagement or seed funding for a community climate action project. This grant is available to existing and emerging community groups.
Any events or projects must be as environmentally friendly as possible must be based within the Highland Council, Orkney Islands Council, or Shetland Council area.
The fund can support community engagement events or seed funding for a project that follow a community led climate action theme such as reducing waste, active travel, food growing, community energy/renewables, recycling & re-use or any other projects that promote and encourage community led climate action.
