Dumfries and Galloway Community Led Local Development

Summary

The Community Led Local Development programme will support community facilities in Dumfries and Galloway and mitigate the impact of the cost-of-living crisis. There are four priorities within Dumfries and Galloway:

  1. Enabling community facilities / assets to make changes in pursuit of becoming carbon neutral.
  2. Supporting activities that enable small communities to avoid further loss of amenities, such as community transport, meeting places, and leisure and sport facilities.
  3. Enabling service providers to deliver support to the most vulnerable and in need families across the region to help address the cost-of-living crisis and eradicate poverty.
  4. Supporting activities that identify and assess community needs in advance of the place planning production, such as consultation and engagement work.
